Opportunity - Sols 1570 to 1578 - L257 - 54 pointings
Now that the raw images are being posted again all the images are available for the stunning pan taken close to Cape Verde.
Full Resolution (9603 x 4475) (6.9Mb)
Half Resolution (4802 x 2238) (1.4Mb)
Quarter Resolution (2401 x 1119) (392kb)
Phoenix - Peter Pan - Sols 13 to 40 - R1 & RA - 144 Pointings
I think that the colour version of the full Peter Pan with spacecraft deck will be quite tricky. So in the meantime here is virtually the whole panorama in greyscale.
Quarter Resolution (6680 x 1744) (4.4Mb)
Polar version
Quarter Resolution (1686 x 1686) (960kb)
Phoenix - Sols 3 to 32 - R1BC - 103 Pointings
Here is another go at the mission success panorama 'Peter Pan'. The foreground is still being filled in, this image is already out of date as more images came down on sol 33. In this version I have also added in the mosaic taken of the robot arm work volume taken earlier (sols 3 - 7), unfortunately they don't quite overlap so there is a black line across the middle. Now with a version at the full resolution of the camera.
Full Resolution (26584 x 6868) (19.2Mb)
Half Resolution (13292 x 3434) (4.3Mb)
Quarter Resolution (6646 x 1717) (1.2Mb)
Opportunity - Sol 1570 & 1571 - L257 - 29 pointings
All but one of the sol 1571 images are now down, here is the view. Amazing!
And there is more to come, another 28 pointings have been taken on sols 1572 and 1573 but not downlinked yet.
Full Resolution (8044 x 3388) (3.8Mb)
Half Resolution (4022 x 1694) (700kb)
Opportunity - Sol 1570 & 1571 - L257 - 20 pointings
The another part of the panorama being taken from very close to the cliffs at Cape Verde has come down. There was a lot of lens flare in some of the images on the left which my processing software has not been able to deal with very well.
Full Resolution (8019 x 3322) (2.5Mb)
Half Resolution (4010 x 1661) (496kb)
Phoenix - Sols 3 to 28 - R1BC - 92 Pointings
The Mission success panorama 'Peter Pan' now covers the full 360 degrees around the horizon. The foreground has also started to be filled in. In this version I have also added in the mosaic taken of the robot arm work volume taken earlier (sols 3 - 7), unfortunately they don't quite overlap. Processing the full size version is tough on my computer so it's only at half of this at this time.
Half Resolution (13236 x 2561) (3.8Mb)
Quarter Resolution (6618 x 1281) (873kb)
Opportunity - Sol 1570 - L257 - 10 pointings
The first part of a panorama being taken from very close to the cliffs at Cape Verde.
Full Resolution (3020 x 2534) (1.1Mb)
Half Resolution (1510 x 1267) (242kb)
Phoenix - Stretched horizon x10 - R1
The horizon as seen from Phoenix stretched vertically ten times to bring out relief on the horizon.
Full Resolution (24621 x 2880) (5.0Mb)
Half Resolution (12311 x 1440) (1.4Mb)
Quarter Resolution (6156 x 720) (389kb)
Phoenix - Sols 16 & 17 - R1BC - 12 Pointings
I spent a bit more time working on the part of the Peter Pan sequence from sol 16 and added the section from sol 17 as well.
Full Resolution (5268 x 2043) (2.3Mb)
Half Resolution (2634 x 1022) (473kb)
Here is the same image cropped down to approximately match the pleasing composition of my first attempt using just the sol 16 data.
Full Resolution (3328 x 2000) (979kb)
Half Resolution (1664 x 1000) (300kb)
Also here is a small images showing all the bits of The Peter Pan in there correct relative positions (the full width of this image is 360 degrees)
Larger image (5000 x 403) (549kb)
Phoenix - 16 - R1BC - 6 pointings
A very nice photographic composition came down on sol 16 as part of The Peter Pan.
Full Resolution (3672 x 2152) (1.8Mb)
Half Resolution (1836 x 1076) (375kb)
Actually 8 pointings btw.
