Spirit - Bonestell Panorama - Colour Anaglyph - 80 pointings - L234567/R123 filters

The Bonestell panorama is still not completely downlinked however NASA have released a version to celebrate Spirit's five years on Mars I thought I'd do the same and add something extra with a colour anaglyph (3D, you'll need a pair of those red/blue glasses).

I've kept it in the 'rover frame' so the horizon is curved. This is because this is the way the two 'eyes' of Sprit saw the scene and you would have needed to tilt your head as you panned across the picture to see it properly if I had changed it. I found the b/w 'ground frame' version that NASA posted distorted and very hard to view properly.

I'll post the normal 2D versions and larger 3D versions when the last bits of the image have finished being downloaded from the rover.

Happy birthday Spirit!

Husband and McCool hills are two of the seven principal hills in the Columbia Hills range within Gusev Crater. Home Plate is in the inner basin of the range. there is a nice picture of a unique rock formation just above the homeplate line and on the same side of the Fuzzy Smith rock it is inbetween the two points but on the border of the left side of the inner basin of the homeplate lol i left a link to my facebook photos i just been trying to study about the rockformation it looked unique to me any suggestions ? thank you for the time reading this post
